Please refer to the images. The image with the red circle shows the location that needs to be modified. Just a bit more depth to the valley where the Coax Cable lies and you are good to go! The image with the red arrow shows how it sits without the modification. Without the modification, it is not recommended using this antenna mount with most coax cables. A Dremel and a moment of your time is worth the savings. And this product works fantastic to obtain to proper degree on your antenna.
The Scosche PSM21021 is an adjustable Antenna mount for OFFROAD vehicles. It features a 3/8" mounting hole in a 6061-T6 aluminum base with a black UV resin finish and includes a stainless steel tightening screw. The mount can be rotated 360˚ with 18 locking positions available.
Please note: This mount requires a BaseClamp tube-clamp, not included & sold separately, which come in a variety of diameters : 1.5", 1.75", 1.875", and 2.0".
